E.ON offers a variety of tariffs. E.ON dual fuel, E.ON gas and E.ON electricity which include:
E.ON's SaveOnline5 is an online tariff which promises your prices will always be at least 6% cheaper than E.ON's standard prices right up to 1 April 2012. So no matter what happens to your E.ON SaveOnline5 prices, you'll always know that you're saving. The EnergyPlan tariff offers a one-off reward of £60 credit to your energy accounts after you’ve been a dual fuel customer for 12 months. The Track and Save 8 tariff guarantees that your energy bills will be cheaper than British Gas until 31 March 2012.
History of E.ON
E.ON was created from the privatisation of the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB) and has since grown from an electricity generator into a leading producer, distributor and retailer of electricity and gas in the UK.

Environmental responsibility
E.ON uses Britain’s biggest offshore wind farm to create green energy. The company also works with Climate Care, an organisation that reduces greenhouse gases on behalf of individuals and businesses. This promotes low carbon technologies and reduces carbon dioxide on behalf of the consumer. The emission reductions are made through a range of projects in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
E.ON participates in several green energy projects which generates enough green energy to meet the residential needs of the city of Manchester. In May 2007, work started on a £500million gas-fired combined heat and power station (CHP) in Kent. The plant will be capable of producing enough electricity for around one million homes.
Community work
E.ON sponsors a major initiative called HeatStreets which installs energy efficient measures in communities.
More than 40 thousand energy efficient measures have been installed throughout the UK so far, aiding local authorities to meet Decent Home obligations. These energy efficient improvements include insulation, replacement gas boilers, full gas central heating systems and hot water cylinder jackets.
E.ON also provides communities with access to a free benefit entitlement check to ensure households are claiming all the benefits to which they’re entitled.
