Paying by direct debit is the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to pay for your energy bills. Suppliers often give discounts for paying this way. See pay your energy bills by direct debit.

Double glazing

Windows or doors made of two panes of glass with an air-filled space in-between, to increase insulation and minimise heat loss.

Draught proofing

Filling any gaps in your home where heat can escape is an energy efficiency measure. This includes fixing brushes to the bottom of doors, and covering key holes. See the benefits of insulation.
