E.ON currently offer four tariff options, so you can ensure you choose the right one for you.

FullSupply – With a FullSupply tariff you can fix your supply price for either 12- or 24-months. It’s easy, straightforward and has flexible billing options.

MidTermReview – Designed especially for half hourly businesses, this is a simple tracker tariff, where if the market price falls, your contract price may fall too, depending on when you have it reviewed. You can choose your review date to take advantage of the lowest market price.

FlexiOptions – Giving you the option to minimise your exposure to fluctuations in energy prices, this tariff allows you to choose to fix your supply price in instalments, rather than all in one go.

Climate Change Levy Exempt – To avoid paying the Climate Change Levy (tax on energy used by non-domestic users, introduced by the government to encourage businesses to become more energy efficient), choosing this tariff allows you to purchase energy that is either good quality combined heat and power (CHP) or electricity from a renewable source.

1. Advantages

E.ON’s business electricity plans are designed to suit a range of different business types, and can help manage your business’ energy costs.

They offer tailored services, including fixed prices for the duration of your contract, the choice of no tie-ins, or you can opt for a plan to suit your meter type.

You will have a dedicated support team, with named account and relational managers. This customer service package provides an extensive range of benefits including automatic monthly commission payments, 48-hour response to a quote request, free energy efficiency advice and product training.

E.ON’s smart meter technology means your business can get reliable and accurate billing based on actual meter readings. The supplier can also provide a total energy package, fitting new meters and removing old ones if necessary.

Half hourly meter businesses can also benefit from customised contracts with SmartBilling, which enables you to view and measure consumption trends online with E.ON’s Energy Management tool. The Half Hourly data provided allows you to monitor and manage your energy usage.

You can opt for E.ON’s EasyGreen business Eeectricity tariff, which is designed to help meet your environmental goals, matching every unit of electricity your business uses with a unit generated from a renewable wind or hydro source and supplying it back to the national grid.

2. How to switch

Switching to an E.ON business electricity plan is easy - fill in the simple online form, providing E.ON with details about your business and current electricity usage, and let them do the rest. Alternatively, you can talk to an E.ON business consultant over the phone. There is normally a 48-hour turnaround on quotation requests. After they’ve given you a quote, remember to compare the market.

3. Is E.ON right for me?

Experienced in supplying both small/medium (less than 50 sites) as well as larger businesses and with over 500,000 clients currently signed up, chances are E.ON energy will have an electricity plan to suit your business’ needs.

Make sure you compare business electricity prices and receive an online quote to find out exactly how much you’ll be saving, and talk to an advisor to find out which plan is best for your business.
