Despite the recent flurry of energy companies announcing price increases in the UK domestic market, ScottishPower’s Online Fixed Saver November 2012 is a new online-only fixed rate energy deal where prices are fixed to 31st October 2011.

ScottishPower says its new Online Fixed Saver November 2012 offers the following benefits:

  • Prices fixed until 31st October 2012
  • Fixed prices will be 5% below standard monthly Direct Debit prices (effective 1st August 2011)
  • No more paper bills.
  • Emails to remind you when it’s time to give ScottishPower your meter readings
  • Gas & Electricity offer annual discount of £16.80 (inclusive of VAT)
  • Online Energy Service annual discount of £5.25 for gas and £10.50 for electricity (inclusive of VAT)

Is It Right For Me?

This Offer is only available to dual fuel customers that pay by monthly Direct Debit. A fixed gas only and electricity only product are not available. The actual prices charged will vary depending on whereabouts in the UK you live.

Being an online account, it involves receiving and viewing your bills online, providing meter readings online and carrying out general correspondence online.

If you cancel your Online Fixed Saver November 2012 Offer contract by switching to another gas and/or electricity supplier before 31st October 2012, a cancellation charge may apply. ScottishPower’s current cancellation charges are £30.64 for electricity and £20.42 for gas, including VAT at the current rate of 20%.
