Scots can choose from a wide variety of tariffs with Scottish Hydro-Electric, including one which rewards them for reducing their energy usage.
Scottish Hydro-Electric generates and supplies electricity and gas in northern Scotland. It is part of Scottish & Southern Energy, which has over nine million customers in the UK.
Scottish Hydro-Electric offers a variety of different tariffs to suit different households.
Its tariff options are as follows:
Scottish Hydro-Electric customers can pay their bills in a wide variety of ways, including online, by text, by post and by paygo swipe card.
However, the cheapest way to pay is by monthly direct debit. Scottish Hydro-Electric customers who set up a monthly direct debit will get a 5% discount on their energy bills.
As well as energy, Scottish Hydro-Electric also offers home phone and broadband services. Scottish Hydro-Electric energy customers can get up to £40 off their annual energy bill when they sign up for a home phone package.
All its home phone packages come with unlimited local and national weekend calls and free calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers. Its broadband packages offer unlimited downloads at speeds of up to 8Mb and come with a free wireless router.
