EDF Energy has launched the Online Saver 9 tariff, offering customers a 2% discount on its standard rates until June 2012.
EDF’s latest online saver tariff guarantees customers a minimum 2% discount on its standard tariffs prices until 30 June 2012.
The new tariff will replace the Online Saver 8, and is available for both dual fuel and electricity customers who have either a standard or an economy 7 meter.
According to EDF Energy, people who sign up to the tariff could save up to £210 off its standard prices if they pay by direct debit for both electricity and gas.
When the guaranteed price period comes to an end, customers will automatically be transferred onto EDF’s standard tariff.
Customers who decide to change supplier before 30 June 2012 will be charged an Early Termination Fee of £30 for electricity, and £30 for gas or £60 for dual fuel.
Make sure you compare all the different energy tariffs available before signing up to EDF’s Online Saver 9 tariff.
It’s important you choose the best tariff to suit your needs. Most notably, this is a variable tariff so the prices could go either up or down over the next couple of years. Therefore if you want the security of a fixed-rate deal then maybe this is not the one for you.
