Good news for npower customers

npower Sign Online Customers to Reap Benefits

Writes Dan Drage dan.drage@consumerchoices.co.uk

Leading UK energy supplier npower has announced details of how customers can save up to £177 on fuel costs.

By switching to npower’s (www.npower.com) Sign Online 11 tariff, savings of up to £177 can be enjoyed if you pay monthly by direct debit. Direct Debit is currently the leading payment method for those eager to make savings on utility bills.

Extra discounts of up to £80 are available to npower dual fuel customers who pay by direct debit for 12 months or more. Staying loyal to npower will earn you an £80 annual discount on your dual fuel bill.

Other perks include UK based call centres, no standing charge and no termination fees.

npower recently launched its ‘Climate Cops’ scheme, encouraging students to live more ecologically aware lifestyles. The scheme was fronted by Piers Morgan and Fearne Cotton.

Chris Eagle, Commercial Manager at Energy Choices, is an advocate of direct debit payments and online accounts management:

‘Paying by direct debit and choosing to manage your account online are sure-fire ways to save money on your energy bills. Taking your own meter readings is actually very simple, and helps you to keep track of exactly how much energy you’re using.’
