Scottish Power’s latest Online Energy Saver deal guarantees to be 2% cheaper than its standard prices - though some customers will see price increases.
Online Energy Saver 11 replaces version 10, offering cheaper gas and electricity until 31 October 2011, compared to standard, direct debit costs.
However, Online Energy Saver customers will see an increase in their bills compared to the previous Online Energy Saver 10 deal.
Increases will vary depending on where you live, from 1.19% - which works out at just £12.10 a year in some parts of the country - all the way up to 9.71%, or £88.88 a year for average users in other areas.
Chris Eagle, commercial manager at Energychoices.co.uk, said: “While online energy prices have been creeping up over recent months, they still offer relatively good value for money.
“Compare energy prices to make sure that you get the best possible deal on your gas and electricity,” he advised.
