Scottish and Southern Energy is launching a new online dual fuel tariff.
Scottish and Southern Energy’s Go Direct 4 replaces it’s previous Go Direct 3 and maintains the benefits of the previous deal.
SSE, which provides services through Southern Electric, Swalec and Scottish Hydro, is offering a 5% direct debit discount on the Go Direct 4 tariff as well as it being the firm’s cheapest dual fuel deal.
The tariff only lasts until June 2011, when customers will be moved unto SSE’s standard rates, although they will maintain discounts for direct debit and online paperless billing.
Customers on the Go Direct 4 tariff wanting to switch to a new provider or any new version of the deal will have to pay a £50 exit fee.
SSE’s other tariffs include the Better Plan, which offers discounts on energy bills for customers who carry out energy efficiency improvements, and Price Fix 4 , which offers a guarantee against price rises until August 2011.
The firm also offers eco energy deals and smart energy bills for customers with smart meters.
