Energy giant npower (www.npower.com) last week introduced a new online tariff “Sign Online 8”, offering more competitive prices to customers who use above average amounts of gas and electricity.
Sign Online 8 aims to take advantage of the many people who will be looking to switch to a new energy supplier ahead of the colder coming months and the tariff is particularly good for households such as large families who use a lot of energy and who will most appreciate the big savings they’ll be able to make by switching.
Online tariffs often offer the most competitive prices and since they allow customers to manage their accounts and pay their bills over the internet as well as enter their own meter readings, they eliminate over-priced estimated bills.
Chris Eagle, EnergyChoices.co.uk commercial manager, said: “This is a good tariff and all competitive offers are welcome in the energy market as they often prompt competing companies to reduce their own prices.
“However, the best offers are usually the reserve of new customers, which is why switching supplier is so lucrative for consumers. Customers should make the effort to regularly check that they are still on the most competitive deal in their area, by carrying out a quick online comparison,” he added.
Compare gas and electricity prices and see how much money you can save.
