British Gas promises to beat business electricity prices

Business electricity customers can get a 10% discount on their bills with their current provider, if they switch to British Gas.

British Gas (www.britishgasbusiness.co.uk) is pledging to beat any competitor’s business prices by 10%.

The firm is launching a promotion promising to knock 10% off the contract renewal price offered by a current electricity supplier.

The offer is only open to new customers on a fixed one-year small and medium sized business electricity contract, spending less than £100,000 a year on energy.

Firms must provide a written renewal letter from the current provider and the British Gas quote is valid for just two working days.

British Gas has over 950,000 business customers and offers packages of energy efficiency help and smart metering.

Business boiler maintenance and repair packages are also available.

Separate energy packages are available for larger businesses.
