British Gas launches EnergyExtra home care

Energy giant British Gas has launched a new range of home care packages for dual fuel and gas customers, starting at just £3 a month.

The new EnergyExtra tariffs are exclusive for British Gas (www.britishgas.co.uk) dual fuel or gas only customers, providing care for gas central heating systems, plumbing and drains and even home electrical wiring.

EnergyExtra 50 costs just £3 a month and offers the following services:

• One-off repairs for your gas central heating systems, plumbing, drains and home electrical wiring
• Guaranteed same or next day visit for central heating repairs when you have either no heat or hot water as well as same or next day repairs for plumbing, drains and home electrical wiring
• Each completed repair and any related faults costs £99 (unrelated faults will be charged separately)
• Optional Boiler Service for only £65
• Unlimited callouts.

British Gas is also offering three other home care tariffs exclusively for energy customers. EnergyExtra 200 Flexi is just for your central heating system and costs £12.50 a month. It includes your annual boiler service and also cuts the cost of each repair to just £65.

EnergyExtra 200, which also covers your heating system, includes all parts and labour as well as your annual boiler service for £17 a month. And if you don’t use the service in the first 12 months you'll also get a £20 credit on your British Gas account.

Finally, British Gas’ EnergyExtra 400 covers your gas central heating system, internal plumbing and drains, internal home electrical wiring and internal gas supply pipes.

For £27 a month it offers guaranteed same day call out when you have either no heat or hot water and call before 10am, plus same or next day engineer visit on all plumbing, drains and electrical repairs. All parts and labour are included and you also get a free annual service for your boiler.
