Midlands and East Midlands residents can now benefit from the cheapest bills in the UK, and get a free smart meter, if they switch to First:utility.
First:utility’s new tariff offers the cheapest energy prices in the UK, and is available exclusively to people living in the Midlands and East Midlands.
Average duel fuel bills with Smart Online Saver V3 will be just £882 – representing a saving of over £200 compared to average bills with British Gas’ standard tariff.
Explaining the supplier’s new lower prices, Mark Daeche, CEO of First:utility, said: “As a fast-growing, independent energy company, First:utility is able to react nimbly to decreases in the energy wholesale market and quickly pass on those savings directly to customers.”
All households who sign up to the Smart Online Saver V3 tariff will receive a free smart meter, which is designed to help them monitor and reduce their energy usage.
Daeche said these meters allow customers “to experience the future of energy today – accurate bills and real control of energy usage.”
The Smart Online Saver V3 deal is an online tariff, which has no exit fees and offers an annual 12.5% discount if customers make 12 consecutive direct debit payments.
Chris Eagle, com “Getting a free smart meter is a real perk, as other households may have to wait up to 10 years to have one installed through the government’s plans.
“Combine this with the super-low prices on this tariff, and you have a cracking deal - if you live in Midlands and East Midlands, you really should consider switching to First:utility.
“However, the best tariff for you depends on your usage, so be sure to do an accurate energy comparison first.”
