Is it right for me?
If you have a relatively new boiler and heating system, where you don’t expect to have to make an emergency call-out more than once in a year, you might well be better off not taking out any cover at all. However £108 a year is a small price to pay for the reassurance heating cover provides, as well as the big bills should anything go wrong.
If you decide to go with this option there is no fee to cancel service providing you have not made a claim.
What isn’t covered?
If you have work completed before you cancel your contract you will need to pay a £75 fee.
Don't forget
Boilers older than seven years old might require an inspection before you can cover. Boilers 15 years are excluded from many plans. Also, check that the make of the boiler will be covered by your chosen plan.
E.ON’s boiler insurance is limited to certain geographical regions including North West England. You will want to check your post code with the company before signing up for service.
