Is it right for me?
This is a good option if you want the peace of mind that full coverage for your boiler affords. You can cancel at any time without paying a cancellation fee unless you have previously called for service. In that case, you will need to pay a one-off fee of £75.
With this coverage, If your boiler is less than 7 years old you can have the comfort in knowing that E.ON will cover the cost of a new one should yours be beyond repair.
If you have a relatively new boiler and heating system, where you don’t expect to have to call them out more than once in a year, you should opt for a less comprehensive cheaper package.
What isn’t covered?
If you have work completed before you cancel your contract you will need to pay a £75 fee to cover costs.
Don't forget
Boilers older than 15 years are excluded from many plans, while those more than seven years old might require an inspection before you can cover them. Also, check that the make of the boiler will be covered by your chosen plan.
E.ON’s boiler insurance is limited to certain geographical regions including North West England. You will want to check your post code with the company before signing up for service.
