British Gas Priority Response

British Gas (www.britishgas.co.uk) customers can have peace of mind for as little as £1.50 a month. The Priority Response Service offers coverage for central heating breakdowns with guaranteed next day response exclusively for British Gas customers only.


How much does it cost?

  • £2.50 a month for British Gas customers currently receiving paper billing
  • £1.50 per month (12 month introductory rate) if you switch or are on a
    Click Energy online tariff (paperless billing)

What does the Priority Response service cover?

If you find yourself without heating or hot water a British Gas engineer will be there to fix it by the very next day or your money back. All repairs will be carried out for an inclusive fixed fee, starting at £120 (view the fixed fee for your area below). These prices includes parts, labour, VAT and call out:

With Priority Response, customers’ friends and family will also be entitled to the same repair service at the same fixed fee if they are also British Gas energy customers.

All British Gas energy customers can use the 24 hour priority line for central heating problems. Calls cost a minimum of 4p per minute or 1p per minute during evenings and weekends. A call set up fee of 3p applies to calls from residential lines.
