The priority response service guarantees next day response if you find yourself with no heating or hot water.





How much does it cost?

  • £2 a month + fixed fee (all inclusive, limited offer - see costs below)
  • Your friends and family will also be entitled to the same central heating breakdown repair service at the same fixed fee

What does the priority response service cover?

If you find yourself without heating or hot water a British Gas engineer will be there to fix it by the very next day or your money back. All repairs will be carried out for an inclusive fixed fee (view the fixed fee for your area below). These prices includes parts, labour, VAT and callout:

With the priority response service, customers’ friends and family will also be entitled to the same repair service at the same fixed fee if they are also British Gas energy customers.

All customers can use the 24-hour priority line for central heating problems. Calls cost a minimum of 6p plus up to 2p per minute using a BT calling plan. Mobile and other providers calling rates may vary.
