British Gas HomeCare Flexi 100

HomeCare Flexi 100 is the entry level package in the British Gas (www.britishgas.co.uk) insurance range where a small fixed fee is charged for each completed repair.

Package Includes:

  • Unlimited callouts – There’s no chance of you filling your quotient of calls before running into a major emergency.
  • All engineers are CORGI registered. You have access to over 5500 CORGI registered engineers.
  • Includes parts and labour, so there are no hidden charges.
  • Includes free yearly safety and maintenance inspection (a service that costs £18 a month as part of the British Gas ‘PropertyCare’ scheme)
  • 24/7 manned customer helpline
  • Cheaper monthly cost than the HomeCare 100 package

Package Price

Costs from only £12 a month* plus you will pay a £50 fixed fee for every completed repair (includes parts and labour).



Is it right for me?

This entry-level offer is essentially for those who don’t anticipate a great deal of breakdowns. Therefore if your boiler is less than a year old, this package may be best for you. Alternatively see HomeCare Flexi 200 for radiator and pipework cover.

If your boiler is 1 to 2 years old, then the HomeCare Flexi 200 package may be more appropriate.

Check first that the boiler isn’t already covered by your home insurance or under guarantee if it’s nearly new.

Beware that multiple repairs could result in you paying more for this package than you would the HomeCare 100 equivalent.

Don't forget

  • *Prices start at £9 a month, but can go up to £12 if you live in close proximity to the M25.
  • Some areas of the UK may be outside of the HomeCare service coverage. Check first before you apply.
  • £50 fee is for the reported fault and related faults only. Repairs to additional faults will be charged at £50 each.
  • Payment by cash, cheque or credit card is subject to an administration fee. Direct debit payments do not incur a charge.
  • Cancellation costs are up to £101 for customers in their first year of the agreement.
